Tripp was a rock star on his team! He had the experience of playing before, and it really showed. His game average for goals was six, but there were games he scored a few more. The last game he only scored three, but after the game we figured out he had strep. No wonder he didn't play as hard.
This is what you do when you score five times in the first five minutes of the game. You get taken out and pick flowers for mom.
Tripp's coach telling these three boys that they are on the same team, and not to steal the ball from each other.
I'm pretty sure there were a few games that Tripp though he was playing baseball and not soccer. Sliding into the goal was common.
He had lots of spectators. Gabby and Pud came to a game too, but mom forgot snacks and had to rush to the store to get some for the team.
This is a video Tripp's coach put together for them.
Because you have to practice, and because Cody can't let anyone (especially the boys) say they might be better at something, all the boys had a fun backyard game.
notice all the tongues hanging out of mouths...
...I think they wore their dad out.
Hank enjoying all the outside company.
"Not being tired like dad."
Garrett had a fun season. He had a great coach, and was able to be goalie a lot. He loves being goalie! One game he punted a ball from the goal, almost to mid-field. I think he surprised himself as well as Cody and me.
Warm up for Garrett's team. His coach always asked for them to call out stretches. Garrett liked to make them do twenty push-ups.
This was Garrett's last game before he got sick. Literally, this was the day before he started complaining. He missed his last game, but his coach came up to the hospital to visit him and give him his trophy.
I have lots more pictures!!! You can see them here, here, and here.
