How to...Swaddle a Toddler...

Wrap me.

This is what Tripp tells me as he hands me his blanket named Cubers (covers.)

I then will swaddle him, but leave his feet exposed, and he then walks all over the house doing his thing.  It doesn’t happen only when he is sleepy.  He will come and ask me to “wrap” him while he plays, or eats lunch or what ever.  We even have rules for when he can be “wrapped”: not in the car, not at the table, and not outside.  I just love watching him.  He will walk around, find a toy, unwrap his one arm that isn’t in his mouth, grab the toy, and reinsert his arm back into the blanket.
