Devotional Suprise for Mom

Tonight before bed Garrett and I were reading from his Veggie daily devotional book. Today’s devotional focused on memorizing a verse, so I told Garrett to repeat what I said. Instead of copying what I was saying, he finished saying the verse for me. Wow! I didn’t even know he knew it. This is the verse that we “memorized” (already knew):

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that who ever believes in Him will have everlasting life.” John 3:16

How great is it that God gives us His word, and we can carry it with us all the time!
