Stop, Drop and Roll

Today my mom’s group from church went to a local fire station for the kids to meet the guys and check out the trucks. It was so much fun! One of the guys put on their whole suit and talked to the kids about not running from him if he was their. It is really easy to see why kids would hide; he really was quite scary. Then they all were able to climb on the truck. After that they pulled out the hose and let each of them take a turn at turning it on and shooting it. Garrett loved it! My sweet Tripp who is usually terrified of strangers took to one of the firemen, and would not let him go. I even tried to pull him away, and he shook his head no and held on tighter. Gabby thinks maybe that is his future calling. Who knows, but it was a fun day!
