We have always had family birthdays for him, but he had never had a birthday party with his friends before. So this year he had a party with his friends, and with his family, and at school. We did it big, and he had a blast!
Tripp LOVES the book Shark vs Trian, so that is what kind of party he had.
Tripp helped me make his shark cup cakes.
His cupcakes originally stood up, but my house is too hot. Eventually they all "melted."
Birthday breakfast, his first run at blowing out the candles, I think he has it down.
His Shark vs Train table
He got this really cool shark hat from one of his friends!
He kept telling me how proud he was of his hat.
Playing with all his friends
Eating cup cakes
Friday night the birthday boy picked Fuzzy's for dinner.
Tripp was in rare form all day, he kept running around yelling, "Take my picture, Take my picture!"
Blowing out candles
At the end of the weekend I told Tripp that he had lots of people who loved him, and he started naming off everyone who had been to his parties over the weekend. That was probably his best gift, to feel loved by everyone around him.
