What's for Lunch

Garrett had Pioneer Day today at school.  He dressed like a pioneer (straw hat, plaid shirt, jeans, and boots.) He also had a pioneer lunch.  The rules were no lunchboxes, no ziplocks, no thermos, no juice boxes, and no pre-packaged food.  I put his lunch in a basket lined with a cloth napkin (first time its ever been used since we got married...) and filled it with an apple, pepperoni wrapped with parchment paper, a mason jar of water, and a napkin of peanut butter pretzels.  For his snack, I put his pre-packaged cookies in a napkin.  He was very particular about me following all the rules, and wouldn't let me send it in the package (even though it wasn't for lunch.)
